Actually, I dream of all the things I could make with all the different fabrics I fall headlong in love with. Get ready for a rather wacky ride through my imagination... via my fabric searches and sewing adventures.

I dove deep into this new passion with such fervor that it all seems unreasonable and a little scary. Sewing/fabric hunting/stalking Burdastyle.com and imagining have become what I do.

A year ago my little Singer Simplicity was on a shelf in the linen closet, my mother's Futura (inherited) was stowed safely away under the steps in the garage , where I had instructed it to be placed, when we moved into this house 5 years ago, and the serger -- that mystery machine with all those hookie-things -- lived lonely on a table in the basement.... I wasn't even sure whether it worked or not.

Then it started.

Stuck in the middle of writing a book that just woudn't come clear (From Trouble to High Places)... and dealing with some personal isms -- brought on by the self-issues that writing this particular book was forcing me to deal with -- I found myself ripe/ready for a new passion to save myself with. That's how I landed here.. several mind-miles away from my regular website (www.reinventingyourwomanspace.com) and my book-excerpt blogs here at blogspot (http://reinventingyourmotherspace.blogspot.com and http://reinventingyourwomanspace.blogspot.com).

I have always known that creativity is a sacred foray into our zones of Self that would otherwise stay asleep.

Won't you join me as I go about waking it all up?

Love & Light
